Last night (December 8th, 2009) TXDOT held a public hearing regarding planned improvements to FM1626 from 967 to Brodie Lane. In it's current state 1626 is dangerous and overcrowded. The narrow 2-lane road has frequent accidents and EMS and the fire department have trouble moving swiftly to emergency calls to neighborhoods along the route.
